The film was shot in an abandoned factory and an old train station in Hangzhou. At that time, I was thinking about how how the technology that represents power is constantly changing the appearance of our cities, and more importantly, how it makes our bodies undergo irreversible changes the contemporary era. A few years ago, a friend who was filming this film with me and now living in Hangzhou told me that the old factory had been completely demolished and replaced by a shopping mall and high-rise residential buildings.
